GREATER IMPACT. GREATER CAPACITY.
PLACE YOUR STONE.
What is the LEGACY Initiative?
LEGACY is a two-year generosity initiative rooted in the belief that we are building more than a campus—we are building a testimony of faith for future generations. This initiative funds both our church’s ongoing ministry and our bold next steps: purchasing land for a new Lakeside campus and establishing a full 24/7 ministry center for our Heber campus.
Why the name “LEGACY”?
LEGACY is about more than buildings or budgets—it’s about people. Just as God instructed the Israelites to place stones to remember His faithfulness, we are each placing our own “stone” through acts of faith, sacrifice, and generosity. Each gift tells a story. Each stone leaves a LEGACY. “One generation shall commend your works to another…” (Psalm 145:4)
What’s the spiritual focus behind this initiative?
Giving is not a transaction—it’s transformation. It’s part of discipleship and an invitation to live abundantly, not from scarcity. This initiative is about surrendering our hearts first to God, then trusting Him with everything else. As Paul wrote, “They gave themselves first to the Lord…” (2 Cor. 8:5).
Is this only about money?
No. LEGACY is about engagement, obedience, and faith. While financial giving is a part of it, this is first and foremost a spiritual journey. Everyone—regardless of financial situation—has a role. Even a weekly $5 gift from a faithful heart becomes part of something eternally significant!
What if I feel like I don’t have much money to give?
You’re not alone. The Bible honors the widow who gave two small coins because her heart was fully surrendered (Luke 21:1-4). This is about willingness, not wealth. Ask, “What’s my next step of obedience?” We believe God provides for what He calls us to, and He honors faith—even small steps of it.
What is a “One Fund” approach, and why are we using it?
The One Fund approach means that all giving during the LEGACY Initiative goes into one unified fund instead of separating regular tithes and special campaign gifts. We believe in simplicity and clarity. Every dollar given goes toward everything God is calling us to do during this season—both ministry and mission.
It’s not two separate things—it’s one LEGACY. One mission. One fund. One church family taking one step forward, together.
What does “Place Your Stone” mean?
This phrase comes from Joshua 4, where God told His people to take stones from the Jordan River as a sign of His faithfulness. Your “stone” might be a generous gift, a prayerful step of faith, or a life surrendered more deeply to God. Every stone matters. Together, they build a spiritual house (1 Peter 2:5).
What is the primary goal of LEGACY?
100% engagement. We want everyone who calls theCHURCH home to be part of this. Not equal gifts—equal sacrifice and surrender. We believe when everyone participates, God multiplies.
How are funds being used?
The LEGACY Initiative has two primary goals:
When does LEGACY start?
LEGACY officially launches October 12th, 2025 as we begin our 5-week sermon series. This series will lead us to our Commitment and Celebration on Sunday November 9th. Our LEGACY Night Of Worship will be on Wednesday, October 29th @ 6pm @ the Lakeside Campus.
Can I give non-financial gifts?
Absolutely! While financial commitments fuel the initiative, we also welcome gifts of time, prayer, talents, and influence. Some may give assets or serve in new ways. Every part of the body matters.
What are the important dates I should know about?
