THE REALITY OF VISION SHARING
Every year we have:

• 52 Sundays
• Approximately two minutes of Vision Sharing each weekend

That gives us only about 104 minutes each year to communicate from the platform.

At the same time, we have:

• Church-wide initiatives
• Annual events
• Discovery & Partnership Classes
• Seasonal ministries
• Baptisms
• Outreach opportunities
• New ministries
• Ongoing ministry events
• Classes
• Conferences
• Special offerings
• Volunteer opportunities

Every ministry leader rightly believes their opportunity is valuable.
They're right.
The challenge is not deciding whether an event is important.
The challenge is stewarding approximately 104 minutes each year in the way that best serves the entire church.

Approval of an event and approval for Vision Sharing are two separate decisions.
A ministry event may be fully approved and still not be selected for Vision Sharing.
Each request is evaluated based upon factors such as:

• Overall church priorities
• The communication calendar
• Strategic impact
• Audience relevance
• Service flow
• Available Vision Sharing time
• Current ministry emphasis

These decisions are never intended to communicate that one ministry is more valuable than another.
Rather, they are stewardship decisions made for the benefit of the entire church.

While every request is considered individually, Vision Sharing is generally reserved for opportunities that have the broadest impact on the Lakeside Campus.
Examples may include:

• Annual church-wide events
• Brand-new ministries or ministry launches
• Significant church initiatives
• Vision-focused opportunities
• Major seasonal emphasis events (Christmas & Easter)

These examples are intended as general guidelines, not guarantees.

Vision Sharing is only one part of our communication strategy.
Many ministry opportunities are better served through:

• theCHURCH App
• Website
• Social Media
• Weekend slides
• Email
• Text messaging
• Ministry tables
• Community Groups
• Personal invitations

As our church continues to grow, we want people to increasingly view the CHURCH App as the primary place to discover ministries, events, classes, and serving opportunities.

One of the greatest blessings of a growing church is that more ministry is happening.
Growth also means:

• More ministries
• More events
• More communication requests
• More opportunities for people to connect

What doesn't grow is the amount of time available during weekend services.

As our church continues to expand, it simply becomes impossible to feature every ministry opportunity during Vision Sharing.
This is a healthy challenge that every growing church eventually faces.

All Vision Sharing requests are carefully considered.
Ultimately, final approval for all Vision Sharing at the Lakeside Campus rests solely with the Lakeside Campus Pastor.
Submission of a communication request does not guarantee inclusion in Vision Sharing.

We love that ministry leaders champion the ministries God has entrusted to them.
Please never stop advocating for the people you lead.

Our commitment is to steward Vision Sharing with wisdom, intentionality, and clarity so that every weekend supports the overall mission and vision of theCHURCH.
We are committed to helping every ministry succeed while ensuring our weekend services remain focused on leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus.

Every ministry matters.
Every event matters.
Every leader matters.
But Vision Sharing is limited.

With only 52 weekends, approximately two minutes each Sunday, and a goal of highlighting one primary opportunity each weekend (two at the absolute maximum), we simply cannot feature every ministry from the platform.

Our responsibility is to steward those moments wisely for the greatest Kingdom impact across the entire Lakeside Campus.
